Hi-chat is a free 24hr service moderated by peer volunteers in the Harm Reduction Community.
Hi-Peers have their own experience of drug use, physical and mental health issues, drug knowledge and down to chat about general life craziness.
Hi-Chat Staff from QuIHN are Harm Reduction Workers and QuIVAA provide trained Peer Workers.
Hi-Staff moderate the chat and are available for conversation every: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

– Drugs and your health (mental and physical)
– Combinations and effects
– Harm Reduction Tips
– Support with reduction, quitting, cravings and relapse
– Support, education and treatment options around BBVs such as Hep C

Hi-Chat launched in August 2021, we are still building up our peer community which means at times there may not be someone there to talk to but we are trying our best to moderate this space as much as possible and to ensure fellow hi-chatters have someone to talk to when in need!
